Opened by Miotto Gianfranco in 1963, as a furniture refinishing shop. Specialising in typical Venetian gilding and lacquering, in 46 years of work , he has refined other artisanal activities, including rebuilding original 18th-century furniture, frames, mirrors, hand-carved wooden consoles copied from originals and period furniture. 

It is still headed by its original owner, who has shared his passion for the art and craft with his sons who now follow in his footsteps, preserving tradition and manual skill in reproducing artistic objects, copied from originals, using the techniques taught by Venetian craftsmen.
